My FIRST horse! I bought Big Tex from an auction. He was a little underweight, a stud, but looked pretty healthy. He visited the vet had his teeth floated, some shots, dewormed, and gelded! Then I got him on some good feed and hay, and started working with him. He halters and Leads and letâs me kiss him on the face. I am an amateur and donât feel confident at the age of 70 trying to break him. Iâm not sure about his height. I had a pending sale to a trainer who said he would make a good barrel racer. The guy didnât have the cash!
