This is PHOENIX! if you're looking for a broke horse that is sure footed and loves to work, this is your guy! When I say broke, I don't mean bomb proof and dull kick ride. This horse is very responsive to his riders aids and very willing to please! He will side pass, turn on the forehand and haunches, has a great turn around, lope and stop. He is very naturally gaited! He can be ridden in a snaffle bit and stay in gait with very little contact. This horse will lope in small circles and stay in between your legs working off your seat with little bridle correction. His owner who's 74 purchased him in the fall and has taken him camping and tons of trail riding but she thinks he would be better suited for someone younger that rides consistently and wants a forward moving horse. He has not bucked, reared or done anything bad and she really hates to sell him. He loads great, loves to camp, will lead or follow, good in groups, rides out alone, not buddy sour and has impeccable ground manners. Would be great for endurance and perfect conformation for show ring. Phoenix stands great for mounting, stands for the Farrier, bathing, cross ties and loads in the trailer and travels great!He's up to date on his vaccines, worming, feet, coggins & health certificate!Located in Owego, NY
