I know he has stopped traffic when we take him riding down the road, at the state park and even in the pasture turned out in front of the house that runs along the road. With this gelding you can have the whole package, color, build, size, shape, broke and safe. Why settle for less when you can have it all?The best part about this horse is you do not need to be a cowboy to ride him. He is very well broke and has a long list of ranch work under his belt. He will teach you if you donât know how to really ride. This gelding came out of Montana and has done every aspect of ranch work a horse can possibly do. He has seen many miles of land and tens of thousands of cattle. He has worked at the feedlot and stockyards. Ridden by woman, children and men. Every time you sit on Cowboy he rides the exact same way. Being a seasoned ranch horse he has been exposed to so many sights and sounds making him pretty unflappable.For a horse that had never done arena work in his life he does it and does it quite well. Heâll ride around the arena, knows his leads, moves off leg, has a great stop and backs. Stands at the mounting block and wonât walk off until asked. Heâll ride in the indoor and outdoor arena. A nice enough mover and very comfortable gaits.Out on the trails heâs like a 4 wheeler, goes wherever you point him with zero hesitation. Rides alone or with others. Completely road and traffic safe. Sure footed, crosses water and will pony another horse or pony. You can also ride him double with your child. Cowboy has seen so many wide open acres of land he has spent his whole life being ridden outside and thatâs where all of his riding miles really are. Heâs a very versatile horse thatâll do whatever is asked of him. He's done some basic lateral work and has been over some jumps without any concerns.Exceptional ground manners, no vices and 100% sound. Up to date on everything, requires no maintenance or supplements. A very easy keeper. He happily lives inside or out.
