FANCY MOVING Mare BROKE TO RIDE AND DRIVE

PROs: Respectful, not a mean bone in her body. Absolutely no marish behaviors.- Broke to RIDE and DRIVE.- Fancy mover. Drop-dead gorgeous girl.- Has had foals and plenty of time to have many more.- Kids and beginners can ride her inside an arena or pasture. I have video evidence to back that up. I have lead my four-year-old on her, including a light trot and my 7-year-old can ride her inside the fence by herself.- On trail she follows with no monkey business, so beginners can ride. I have put my 65-year-old mom on her and we walked a 5 mile trail rides. Younger beginner friends have trotted and lightly cantered. She does not have any problem following. I would NOT, however, let a beginner out on her by themselves.- No rear or buck. Ever. Her worst spook is a sharp step sideways, a startled freeze or she can speed up momentarily, but comes back immediately.- Has been trailered out and trail-ridden alone and in a group multiple times and did great.- Was at one fox hunt with 15 other horses, and hounds running and singing all over. Was excited, but never-ever disobedient. Have a video I took riding her to prove it. We were in third field.- Obedient no matter how scared and unsure she is. Will dance in place if something is freaking her out but will stay there if thatâs what you are telling her to do.- Ex-Amish buggy horse. Has been on the road. She does not love the traffic, but she definitely can deal with it if she trusts her human.CONS:- Requires maintenance. She has navicular changes in her fronts. Currently is well-managed with diet, exercise and hoof care. She is NOT metabolic and is NOT foundered. Would be happy to share her X-rays. If interested in her, contact me and I will explain what she requires. Nothing expensive.- No jumping other than hopping over small stuff on the trail.- Moderate riding or driving only 15-20 miles of trail riding or arena work a week is ok, as long as you are not pounding rocks most of the time. That may be increased as her fitness increases. - Has a motor WHEN ON TRAIL, not in the arena. Not dangerous by any means, but I would not put a beginner on her unless following a group, which I have done multiple times.- She has not been driven in a year, and I do not have a cart. So if getting her for that purpose, gonna have to bring your own to test it out.
