Gorgeous Dappled Gray Performance Horse who loves to work! Rita is 14 hands, almost 12 yo, dapple gray Percheron cross mare. She is versatile, currently being ridden English and western. She will stand tied with no problems, great with the vet and the farrier, trailers without issue and is easy to catch groom and tack up. She gets an amazing winter coat that really shows her dapples. In a herd she is neither the top horse or the bottom, but can also be in stall with no fuss. NO VICES. She is currently barefoot and walks over rocks, pavement and dirt with no sensitivity or soreness. Rita has been around all the farm animals including dogs and cats. She does good in an indoor or outdoor arena and will walk down a busy street. Rita loves to learn new things and excels in everything she does. She will load a rider from a mounting block, a fence, a car or whatever you need, open and close gates from her back. Rita knows voice commands very well, and easily moves off of leg and rein. Rita has participated in ranch sorting practice, so has been on cows, is started over fences and is an amazing Trail horse. She has a body condition score of 5, excellent confirmation, very good that is easy to ride energy level 7 of 10, and a sweet and curious temperament. Would be great for an advanced beginner and up, going in any direction. She is fine on a grass/alfalfa mix and no grain and maintains her weight even through winter. Current on all vaccinations and had her teeth done this last spring. No history of ulcers or colic. Easy keeper. No history of injury, lameness, or illness except a cut on her left upper leg that has left a scar. She respects all types of fencing. This girl loves people and is super lovey-dovey In your pocket, nickers when she sees you kind of girl!
