Meet Danny!Danny (registered name Forbidden Dancer) is a 24 year old standardbred gelding, 15hh. He started out his life racing and then was used as an Amish buggy horse for years before being thrown away in the kill pen where we found him. Danny has seen alot of the world, and nothing much phases him! He is quite the character in the barn and is a volunteer favorite! Danny came to us emaciated and has gained weight nicely over the summer. Danny's teeth were never taken care of and he cannot eat hay; he is, however, thriving on a diet of pasture, soaked senior grain and beet pulp. If you'd like to spoil a horse with lots of TLC and a bit of extra care, then Danny will reward you be being a steady walk-trot trail horse. Danny has a 160 lb. weight limit (including tack).
