14 yo 14.3h Spotted Saddle Horse (SSH)(Tennessee Walker) gelding for sale. Sammy John is a fun horse to ride. He is great on the trails with other horses and also enjoys going out alone. He loves going out first, can easily be in the middle of the pack, or bring up the rear! Sammy aims to please! He is easy to trailer, stands quietly for the ferrier, and is easy to saddle up. Last summer, I had him out west in Nebraska, South Dakota, and Iowa riding the hills, mountains and buttes... he really surprised me with his surefootedness and confidence on the trail going up and down the sides of those steep mountains! He does not spook and he makes me feel very safe while riding.My only reasons for selling are my own medical issues.
