Diamond is a 14.3 hand 6 year old jet black Kentucky Mountain gelding with a gait as smooth as butter! He doesn't kick, bite, rear or buck or have any vices that his owners know of.They purchased him sight unseen from a friend in KY that's a very experienced rider and she had no trouble at all with him. In fact a young gal that helped them in the barn rode him a lot but his new owners think he's not the best fit for them. They were told by the seller that he may test a new rider and you might have to use a crop with him but he was not dangerous and won't run off with you or anything. His new owners feel he's too green for them and needs a rider with a firm hand or possibly additional training. The new owner is 76 and he has ridden him twice but feels he's too much horse for him. Diamond stands great for mounting, leads good, stands for the Farrier and loads in a trailer good!If you're a confident rider and do ground work with him you'd get along fine with Diamond! Located in Owego, NY
