SMOKIN HAIDA BAY, aka Bentley is a very attractive, thick made, well bred and very gentle AQHA 10 year old, 15.1 Hand Dun gelding. This is a super nice gelding with good conformation, nice thick bone and big healthy feet. Bentley is a true gentleman. He is well trained and gentle for most anyone. Heâs quiet minded and smooth traveling. Has a nice slow jog, will lope out on cue, takes his leads, has a good stop, will back soft and side passes with ease. Collects up well and has a good one hand neck rein. Bentley is a solid ranch and trail horse that you can put just about anyone on and know that he will take care of them. Very solid to ride in urban environments and on the trails. From fast passing vehicles of every kind to farm animals and the neighborhood dogs that charge up barking at us to everything else that we ride pass when riding in our neighborhood are of little concern to him. He is equally solid to ride out on our steep mountain trails. Bentley will ride quietly in any position whether it be leading, following, riding in the middle of a group or out alone. He is sure footed and dependable in the rocks and navigating steep technical terrain. Crosses the river, creeks, downed timber, etc. Bentley has been in the good hands his whole life and has been well cared for and it shows. He has been used on the ranch for all ranch horse chores and for gathering and sorting cattle. This is a horse that would be a good fit for a lot of folks. He is super gentle with a very kind and peaceful disposition. He is the kind of horse that aims to please and just wants to get along.
