Zips Lucky 13 is a gorgeous AQHA 2020 model palomino gelding. Standing 15hh & built to do many different disciplines. This horse loves having a job & interacting with people. Gentle enough for small children to handle on the ground & has the work ethic to sort & pen cattle all day. You can see through the pictures we have how much heâs matured over the past year weâve owned him. Heâs been used the past year, weekly at the stockyards to move & pen cattle as well as loading semi trucks & pushing cattle to the scales on a feedlot in Ky. He will go through or over anything you point him at. Heâs a great horse on the trails & is a blast to ride. He has been ridden & camped with all over KY & TN. He has been to sortings & horse shows & ridden in several parades. Loud noises & lots of people donât bother him. Rides great with dogs as well. He has nice collected gaits & would be wonderful for the show ring. Will ride English or western. Has a nice head set. He will side pass to open & close gates like a gentleman. Stands tied all day without a fuss. Will picket with other horses & ponies for week long camping trips. Bathes & clips with no issues. Loads & hauls on many types of trailers. He gets along with everyone in the pasture. He has good hard feet & doesnât require shoes. We do keep him shod if weâre going on long trips with lots of rocks. Zip is easy to catch & handle. Stalls well but enjoys being turned out the most. He has been shot off of in the pasture to doctor cattle. He has been started doctoring cattle in the pasture & will hold a calf. This talented young gelding can go any direction. Not much bothers this fine young man!He does have a scar on his right front knee from when he was a baby. It is only superficial & heâs always been sound. Selling with a soundness exam, shot, vet & dental records! We look forward to seeing where Zip goes in his life!
