Moon Freckles Play, aka Nemo, is a 14 hand, 2021 AQHA palomino gelding by Slidin On Blue Ice (Yellow Jersey) and out of Miss Sugar Deena (Sugars Rondo Leo). Nemo is that special horse that can go to work and have fun competing on, but still be calm and relaxed for younger kids.We bred trained and raised Nemo. He carryâs our brand. I owned the sire and showed him successfully in the cutting pen. He is an exceptionally well minded stallion that even my littlest kids could ride. He for sure passed his mind on to Nemo.Nemo can do all the things, tarp, ball, flags, belles, drag anything, water, logs, traffic, move over the fence for easy getting on. My nine year old can get on him and gallop pretty circles and stop with ease. Nemo can side pass, his slide stops are really coming along, transition pretty, take the correct lead. He spins and collects. We have been working the flag. He would be awesome in the sorting pen. He is quick and athletic.Nemo is that perfect size that all riders can feel comfortable on. Not to big for the kiddos not to small for the adults. He is the horse that the whole family can go enjoy. For the daughter to go do queening on, to the dad packing into the mountains. Mom goes and does some penning with him. To giving the littlest rider the confidence on sitting on a bigger horse.We took Nemo to his first show and he came home with first in reining, first in ranch horsemanship, third in pleasure and fourth in ranch pleasure. We had tough competition as well. He was quite minded, my kids were climbing all over him during the whole show.Nemo can stand tied all day, he is good with his feet, saddling, trailer loading, catching, bridling, and stalling.
