Meet Digger. He is a 15 year old TWH strawberry roan gelding. He stands just above 15.1. He has been trail riding all over the south with my mother in the last 7 years. He crosses water, bridges, rides with dogs. He has seen it all on the trail including bicycles and 4 wheelers. We overnight camp so he high lines, stalls, or stays in electric fence. He has been in a pipe stall as well. He ties, loads, baths, tacks up, etc with no problem. He stands when you mount him from the ground or a mounting block. Digger is an awesome trail horse but he has a lot of go and my mother is ready for shorter and slower. When I say he has a lot of go, it doesnât mean he will take off with you but he will prance when you hold him back. No health issues. 100% sound. Regular acupuncture and chiropractic care. Good feet. We keep him barefoot unless we go to the mountains then usually front shoes only. I have tons of videos of him that I can send to anyone interested.
