Family Friendly, Granny Safeâ¦Arnold is an 14-year-old, Palomino Grade Quarter Gelding. This boy is family-approved. He stands at 15 hands. If you are looking for a nice, well broke gelding with tons of experience to use on the ranch, trails or arena then take a look at Arnold. This fancy fellow has a nice walk, trot, lope and will one- hand neck rein with loose reins. This boy is beautifully built with a big hip, and a pretty head and neck. Arnold is extremely gentle and calm, has never offered to buck, rear, bite, or kick, and no matter what you ask him, he tries very hard to do it. He has a ton of heart and is good-minded and willing. Arnold has been a 4-H horse and is a real confidence booster. My 12-year-old daughter has been using him on the trails, and both my children have been riding him around double. He has a good foundation and is nicely broke, with an excellent stop, a light mouth, and plenty of athletic ability. He is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture and on the trails, crosses water with no problem, and isnât spooky. He can be ridden out by himself or with other horses and doesnât mind being separated from the group. Arnold has also been ridden alongside the road and in traffic and isnât bothered by it. This guy has been around all sorts of animals and pays them no mind. He has good ground manners, stands quietly tied, and is easy to catch, load, haul, and shoe. He recently had Coggins, and shoes done and is ready to go. Arnold is a one-of-a-kind quarter gelding that will make anyone lucky to have him.
