Up for consideration is a 14 year old registered Quarter horse mare. She stands 16 hands tall and is grey in color. She has been ridden by my son the majority of the time we have owned her (4 years) with occasional a few friends taking her to a few races. She will give you the same run every time. Her and my son have had great success, smaller shows in the 1D-2D and larger shows in the 3D. This mare knows her job, just put you hands forward, sit there and let her do her thing. Sometimes I think she would do it without anyone on her back. She takes very little to warm up before a run, and work no patterns at home during the week. Just either lunge or ride to keep her in shape. I had her hocks and back right ankle injected last fall at Woodland Run and her knees injected spring/summer last year. We do run on Lasix. We have ran her a time or two on poles (just for 4H) I believe she will do them but we just didnât take the time to work with her to teach them. She will trail ride all day long. Loves to be the front horse and doesnât seem to be bothered by much. She stands great for the farrier (has wedges on her front), wonderful ground manners and stands perfectly still for a bath. She will need an experienced rider. Someone with a light hand but yet will correct her when need be. This mare wants to please you and she will! I wish I had the room and time to keep her but I have two of my own and with my son starting college in the fall and working full time this summer itâs hard to get everything done. She truly is a sweet mare and someone will be lucky to have her on their trailer. Asking $7,5xx. I have more pictures and videos if you would like. Located in St. Maryâs Ohio
