I bought Biscuit from my uncleâs longtime friend who has owned him since he was a 2-year-old. This gentleman is in his mid 60âs and he broke/trained him all by himself. Biscuit is trained to neckrein, back, sidepass and has one of the best lopes/canters that you will see on a gaited horse. He has been trail ridden in multiple states surrounding Kentucky and he been ridden at field trials as well. Biscuit is a horse that I feel anyone can enjoy and get along with! He is easy going, walks quietly on a loose rein and is not in a hurry. When asked to move on out Biscuit has a smooth 4-beat gait and he can move on out to 8mph. He has been ridden around farm equipment, ATVâs, and around noisy tarps. On the trails he is automatic! He has seen it all from wildlife to cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been ridden many miles in the rough mountains of Eastern Kentucky and knows what rough trails are. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. He has been ridden in traffic, and is very traffic safe around cars, semi, log, and dump trucks. He has a great personality and a great attitude about whatever he is asked to do.
