Crosses water, down timber,goes up and down steep rocky terrain while staying surefooted. Traffic Safe. He will ride in a group ( front,middle,back ) or alone just as good. He has a smooth trot and nice canter. No silly stuff to him. Checkers is just as gentle and quiet if he is not rode for a week or a year. He stands quietly at a mounting block.
