Trade or home 14yr 15.2hhDraft cross gyspy Rocky has proven to LOVE trail riding. It seems to be where heâs most comfortable! Rocky will trail ride on a loose rein, lead or follow, leave his buddies and walk trot canter happily through fields, over logs, through rough ground etc. He thoroughly enjoys it! We also threw english tack on him and did a few log jumps which he was very willing to do even with some iffy footing! Rocky is a gorgeous guy with a big personality looking for a new home!Under saddle, Rocky stands for mounting and dismounting very patiently!!He has a nice steady working trot and a compact canter with AUTO lead changes both directions. Rocky has been started over fences and seems to have a quick understanding of jumping already! He is jumping small cross rail courses as well as some 2â-2â3â verticals. Rocky rides western and is super comfortable as well! Very smooth sitting trot! He is a leg ride, but holds his pace once he gets going. He would be best fitted with a confident rider due to on the ground he can be looky. Rocky can be a bit unsure of new surroundings and environments at first because he was on the same farm for most of his life. So, at this time heâs not for beginners, But is a pleaser and loves attention! Rocky is sound with clean legs, and barefoot with nice solid feet.Video upon request
