Pep is an attractive and well-bred 6 year old black-brown gelding. Pep is a great grandson of Bully Bullion and goes back to Sunfrost. He is a gentle and good natured well put together gelding that is well trained and is a pleasure to ride. In the arena pep will hold collection, has a nice jog and lopes out on cue. He takes his leads, stops, backs soft and will side pass with ease. He has a good one hand neck rein and is a comfortable traveling kind of a horse. This horse is outstanding to ride out anywhere and is great on the trails as well as around our busy neighborhood streets. He is confidant and settled in any position of the group and will lead, follow respectfully or will ride out alone. He crosses the river, downed timber and will go over, around or thru anything we ask. Pep navigates our steep rocky terrain very well and is sure footed and dependable in all the rough terrain. He is equally as solid in our urban environment with fast passing vehicles of all kinds, farm animals and barking dogs and most recently the blow up Christmas decorations. Pep has been used on a big ranch for all the ranch chores from roping and doctoring sick cattle to sorting and penning cattle. He has been used in the stockyards to load and ship cattle. This is a good natured gelding that has always saddled up gentle, gets along with the others when turned out and is easy to catch. He has been extensively trail ridden and goes anywhere we point him without hesitation. Super good minded gelding with a bright and versatile future. 100% safe sane and sound. Sold!
