Description:

Mare Pony – Daisy Mae17 years old approximately, 11.2 H (42 inches at the withers)Has been used for Beginner Riding Lessons, Trail Rides, (can be ponied if needed), broke to cart.Blind in her right eye, it is gone and sewn shut. She has adapted well. Stands well for the farrier. Trimmed every 6-8 weeks depending on the season. Has had annual vaccinations and checked for dental and chiropractic needs at least annually for the past 6 years. Last vaccines & Coggins 3-17-2022, (Digital report with pictures).Microchipped Lunges on line & round pens. Easy to handle on the ground. Gentle, loves attention. She has a good stop with verbal “woah”. Usually, will go to a lope/canter with “kiss” sound. She has more woah than go. I’ve never seen a mean act from her. She is loved by all that are around her.She often is seen off by herself in the pasture, unconcerned about the other 4 equine on the property. She gets along with her pasture mates; 3 horses, 1 pony. Easy keeper, well insulated. Kept in pasture or dry lot as needed. Her history, that I know about: Owned my the Amish until she was approximately 6 years old, then sold to a family with 2 boys who rode her until they outgrew her. She was trail ridden by them and their grandfather drive her with a cart. Then she came to me. I used her as a lesson pony for my little beginners. She has been excellent in that role. My more advanced students rode the barrel and pole patterns with her but I never took her to competitions. Only being sold because I will not be giving riding lessons this year. And she is too good of a pony to not be used. She hasn’t been used much the last 20 months so has gained weight. Currently, I’m increasing her exercise. I don’t have to sell her, she is worth her weight in gold.Great pony!Mare Pony – Daisy Mae17 years old approximately, 11.2 H (42 inches at the withers)Has been used for Beginner Riding Lessons, Trail Rides, (can be ponied if needed), broke to cart.Blind in her right eye, it is gone and sewn shut.
