We have a long track record of success with hundreds of happy customers. We work hard to match riders with the correct horses and specialize in beginner safe, family friendly horses that have been used and checked out by our family! Here is a family favorite!!! Axton is a super stout built, gelding, standing around 16hh, he is 4 years old, and is a Percheron/Quarter Horse Crossbred! We have owned Axton since early last year and Axton has completed our natural horsemanship program and knows some tricks as well! Sine owning him he has done it all from being ridden on a feedlot, roping/doctoring sick ones, loading trucks and sorting pairs⦠he knows his way around cattle. He has been trail ridden by all ages from 5 to 70 and he is safe and gentle! He has been rode in big country with steep rough elevations. He is a laid back gentle type of horse that still has all the buttons. He is one hand broke, will rein around, open/shut gates, has a smooth trot with a very nice lope and good stop plus he backs with ease. Axton is great on the trails and he will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He is safe riding in traffic. Axton has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. In addition to riding Axton has been drove down the highways and pulled various farm implements. Although he is western broke, Axton will go English as well and has been jumped over logs.
