Shiloh-special Needs/sponsor, Pony - Shetland For Adoption In West Los Angeles
West Los Angeles, CA
Little Shiloh's owner needs to give him up because she is moving in with one of her children. Shiloh is Special Needs because he has a a bit of a stiff stifle in his upper hind leg and needs a small amount of special hand walking exercise as often as possible to keep him limber. He also needs companions because now is is alone and very lonely.Shiloh is not a children's pet as he can sometimes nip for fun if fussed with a lot.Shiloh is nearly 15 and is possibly a full Shetland Pony. Shiloh is gelded and has had his shots. More photos coming soon. Shiloh is available to sponsor or foster only in the greater Los Angeles area, as we do home, property and background checks. If you would like to sponsor or foster Shiloh, please contact:XXXX@socal.rr.com (also our Paypal donation/sponsorship email address).Adoption processAfter speaking by telephone, and coming to see our pet (if qualified), we will visit your home. If qualified, we bring our pet for a two week trial period with an application and contract. The adoption donation for dogs is $200-$350, and a $50-$150 adoption donation for cats and other small pets.Shelter locationOur adoptable pets are boarded at kennels, veterinarians, foster homes and our friends' and family's homes. We sometimes also take part in Best Friends and Animal Planet adoption events. We recommend calling us to discuss your adoption needs. If it sounds like you would be happy and the pet would be happy, we can arrange for everyone to meet.See our organization's info about our plans to purchase our dream animal sanctuary and humane education center---but not without your help.
