Scout is a Bay Tabiano PaintQH Gelding foaled in 2002. He is up for a check on floated teeth last done September 2015. He has been up to date on worming but is not current on vaccine boosters last done September 2015. In February 2016 he was treated for an abscess on left hind foot recovered well. Ferrier did trim in May 2018. Scout gets his LBS in hay a day but we have just started him on four pounds of senior grain. He has nice ground manners round pens like a dream easy to catch and loves to work for his treats. On another note he is very energetic and spunky. He needs to be round penned before attempting to ride him if not then you will go for a crow hope ride this has happened to his owner twice sense we have owned him. He also likes to go into a small buck if you slow him down this has happened once with us and 2 or 3 times with previous owner. We are selling him due to an unfortunate accident with his owner. In October 2017 Scout went into a crow hope at 1st saddle and owner fell off shattering his femur bone. Scout has not been under saddle since. We break for winter riding anyway so his trail rides with me stopped 2 mons early. With the accident at hand we have just started working with our horses. I have recent video of Scout and his owner working together. You will see he is under weight I did a scale weight on him and it comes back a 2.75. He runs an average five typically we bought him spring 2016 and he stayed an average five until he came out of winter he dropped to a low 4. In the photos I have during good weather and being worked he is running a high five on the scale. I believe this year weight loss to be stresswinter related because he was lovely before the accident photos to show. I have not had veterinarian out to check him due to medical bills to owner. Finances are tough and we are having a hard time caring for our horses sacrifices are to be made.
