Pony- Extensive Trail, Ridden Western, English, Groundwork, Desensitizing
Splash is a very pretty, almost 3-year young large appaloosa pony filly. She currently stands at 13.3 hands and will still grow, given her young age. Splash is one of the most gentle young ponies we have ever started. She has been with us from a young age on and got used to being handled regularly as a little filly. She has never had a bad experience with a human and therefore loves people and attention. She bonds strongly with her human, and she is very friendly. Splash is used to being around many different animals and stands to be groomed and bathed and is great for vets and farriers. Everybody loves her!Splash has been lightly started under the saddle here with us. She has had a ton of groundwork done and exposed to all we could think of. From a young age, she has learned to trust people, and getting her to ride under saddle was very easy. She will WTC and pick up both leads on her own. She is a very easy-to-ride pony looking to please and learn. Her gaits are comfortable and flashy for a pony, making her a great prospect for the show ring in the future. Splash has met everything we have introduced to her with curiosity, not fear, and she has been around dogs, cars, tractors, ATVs, tarps, balls, umbrellas, poles, noodles, cattle, chainsaws⦠you name it. She is a very kind, honest, and trusting horse with a great disposition looking for her forever human to finish her training.Splash excels at trail riding. She will go out alone or with others. We have taken her out on long quiet rides to show her her surroundings, and she loves to ride out. She will go wherever you point her, across fields with cattle, up and down hills, passing machinery, through water and wooded areas⦠Splash is naturally surefooted and well-balanced. We love taking our youngsters out in the country when we start them. While Splash has only been lightly started in the ring, she shows a lot of potential. She is flashy, comfortable to sit to, and naturally carries herself. Large show ponies are hard to come by. Here is one that could mature into a super cute show pony with time and training. Splash is very willing and moves off your leg nicely. Since we start our horses out in a halter, she has retained a soft mouth and currently rides in a thick French link snaffle. Splash had ridden in Western and English tack and also bareback.Splash is overall a very respectful and well-behaved pony. She is willing to do anything she is asked and is a quick learner. Her sweet personality and young age will make her bond easily with her new owner. Splash will stand tied all day if you ask her to, and she stands to mount at the mounting block for you to mount from either side.Donât miss this precious young girl with all the looks and color all her life ahead of her. Call Nora at Equestrian Resolutions, LLC, and grab the opportunity to become the owner of this wonderful young filly.
