Moose??17.3hh 5 year old Percheron Gelding1 owner his whole life!Started right!?SAFE SAFE SAFE?Foxhunt prospect. Raised with dogs, cows, and ridden on trails! Not spooky!This is Moose! Moose is a gorgeous steel dappled gray purebred percheron gelding. Moose is truly a gentle giant with the best personality.Moose has been with the same owner since he was weaned from his mom. The only reason the owner decided to part ways is due to lack of time unfortunately.Had a beginner on him!Rides in a frame! Has lead changes !On the ground, Moose stands for grooming, tacking and bathing like a gentleman. Moose PICKS UP ALL FOUR FEET with the touch of a finger. Moose has had extensive groundwork, training to lunge, line drives (never been hooked to a cart) and stands for just about everything. Moose is extremely polite and has a good sense of personal space (which is important given his size!!!)Moose stands for mounting at the mounting block like a statue. Moose is much more whoa than go, but has no problem trotting and cantering in the arena. Mooseâs trot is EXTREMELY comfortable, as smooth as can be. Extremely easy to sit, perfect for an older rider looking for something easy on the joints!! Despite his size, he has very collected, slow gaits!!Moose also has done obstacle courses, ridden bareback, and western. He is not spooky whatsoever, and would be the perfect trail/all around mount for an older amateur rider looking to relax and enjoy the slow life! He could also fox hunt, or teach lessons.Moose saw a chiropractor early this year, has an UTD health certificate and coggins, and is 100% sound with clean legs. He also had his teeth floated and was dewormed and has beautiful barefoot hooves to boot!His baby pictures with his mom and growing up are in his ad!Located in NJ
