Meadow Palomino Mare
Meadow is a 1619 year old grade palomino quarter horse mare standing at a stocky 15.2 hands. She is THE go to trail horse in the barn! On the trail she crosses whatever you put in front of her. Water hills trunks and branches you name it. She will lead follow if you have a horse that can keep up! go in a group or go out alone. She is very straight forward and simple on the trail. If you want her to walk over an obstacle she will walk over it if you want her to jump it she will jump it. Her ideal home would involve a lot of trails! She can work in the arena though. Walks trots canters and jumps but will need more work if planning to work her in the arena. As for her personality she is a mare and acts as such. In the field she is sweet calls and comes to you and even follows you! She has powerful gaits that are not nerve racking. She is a nice balance of whoa and go but if you let her pick the pace she will more often choose go! Smooth and simple with a soft mouth. Before I got her I am not sure what she was doing my best guess is either she was a kids trail horse or barrels as she can really go if you want her to. Meadow does require a bit of maintenance as she does have Cushings. Her good health is maintained through diet and medication. She does best on a dry lot. Her cushings really only affects her attitude. She has no bad habits in the stall only to note that she does best when she can see another horse but not next to another horse she likes to dine alone. She is currently barefoot but can wear shoes. Goes english western and bareback! She would best be suited for an intermediate rider or an advanced beginner with supervision. Located in Pottstown Pennsylvania. Message for more information pictures andor videos!
