Dusty Hotrodelle aka Dusty is a beautiful Red Roan, 15hh, 12 year old, Registered AQHA, Gelding. Talk about a cool roan gelding!!! Dusty is just what everyone needs⦠a quiet, gentle horse that is safe to ride with years of experience but he is also is what everyone wants as a beautiful colored, well bred gelding with both lots of ranch and trail experience! If your confidence needs a boost, Dusty is the perfect horse for anyone in the whole family to ride as he has been ridden by all ages from 4 to 84. Dusty has been used on a ranch doing daily task from checking fences, to herding and sorting cattle. We have also used him to gather up some cows out of the pasture. He has good cow sense and has been roped off of as well. He has had cutting training when he was younger and is a great horse to sort on or to use as a turn back horse. He has been ridden throughout the west! He is great on the trails, is a slow and easy type of horse that handles any obstacle that comes his way. He will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He is traffic safe as well. He has a smooth jog, a very nice lope, will set down and slide stop, turns a circle both ways, sidepasses and backs with ease! He has all the bells and whistles but has the mind that makes him easy to opperate! He has been the perfect lesson horse for my 4 year old girl and he has really helped her learn to ride. He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. Dusty is not cinchy, cold backed, does not crib or weave. If youâre looking for a classy looking trail, ranch or family horse⦠Dusty is the perfect choice!!!
