Jersey is a good guy; smart, talented, handsome, and willing to learn. A good mover with great self-carriage, and three soft yet athletic gaits. Jersey is a comfortably forward ride and athletic with a soft mouth. Jersey knows his lateral work, yields to your leg and catches his leads; he aims to please and does his best under a consistent work routine. Capable of Second Level Dressage with the right person. Can be opinionated at times, he needs a capable amateur or above rider to keep him in check/call his bluff. He is ridden English but also enjoys a western saddle. Wonderful ground manners and loves to be groomed. He is completely sound, has front shoes, stands great for farrier, vet, and loads and unloads like a dream. He does well with other horses and lives out with a fairly large mixed herd. Easy keeper and up to date on coggins, all vaccinations, worming, and dental. PPE with x-rays done in Oct of 2021 is available. More videos available.Located in Pike Road, AL.
