Flashy 3YO Gelding
Rip is started under saddle, line driven, hauled, clips and overall a great prospect. His teeth were floated 2021 & 2022. Heâs very well minded, calm and sensible. Unfortunately he has a strained front left suspensory, confirmed via vet ultrasound. No tear and expected to recover fully. He will be reevaluated and then start slowly back to work; second ultrasound assessed 9/3. Showed significant amount of healing, should be back to regular turn out in about 4-6 weeks and allowed more turn out. Vet confirmed he should return to 100% as long as heâs not pushed too quickly (gradual increase with work). Have comparison ultrasounds and vet appointment recorded. I had hoped to use him for ranch/trail this year and the injury has forced me to focus on my 2YO. Would be willing to negotiate to a good home and buy back clause. Heâs been on stall rest for ~6 weeks and vet expected him to be able to get back to work by fall. He is expected a clean bill of health. Second opinions are welcomed at buyers expense.
