Fine Looking Buckskin Mare One of My Personal Horses
Daisy is one of my personal horses and she is so fine I shouldve named her Daisy Duke. She has an incredibly straight profile with a nice big QH jaw nice chest and a round rump with muscle. She is 15 hands and is a pleasure to be around and to ride. I have ridden her offsite and camped overnight with her on a number of occasions and shes been on organized rides with as many as 500 horses music generators dogs and partying going on. She will walk trot canter with ease when asked and she has an incredibly smooth jog. Shes easy to control. In fact I ride her with a hackamore most of the time but she will also ride with a bit. Shell cross creeks rivers bridges mud or anything else you point her at. Ive owned her since she was a 5 yearold and trained her for trail riding. If youre looking for a really nice mare Daisy may just be your girl and shes the perfect age at 11 years old. Shes old enough to have been there and done that but young enough to do it some more for many years to come. Daisy would be ideal for a teen or adult with some riding experience. She isnt hot and doesnt prance or do anything stupid but she isnt suitable for a 6year old child with no riding experience. She will lead ride in the middle or back and ride out alone. She isnt barn or buddy sour. Anyone with some riding experience will truly enjoy her. She has one of the best Quarter Horse jogs Ive ever had the pleasure to experience. Shell go straight into the lope from a walk. People always ask why were selling our horses. Theres nothing wrong with them. Quite the contrary. Theyre for sale because its part of our business model we buy train put lots of trail hours on them and make them safe for beginners and eventually we sell them at a profit to compensate us for all the training and trail hours we have put on them. We dont have to speculate as to what age or riding level a rider needs to be at in order to ride them. We KNOW because theyve done it many times over. If we say a 6 yearold child with no riding experience can ride the horse then they can and have. And if we say we wouldnt put anyone younger than an inexperienced 10 yearold then you shouldnt consider the horse for your 5 yearold to ride on their own. All our horses sell as sound with no vices. Many of our horses for sale are listed on DBFs Equine Now Farm Directory page but to see all of our horses for sale schedule time to come see them at Dead Broke Farm. Prices listed are firm.
