Broke Appaloosa Gelding
Bought Cojo broke to ride. We have no information on him prior to purchase. Put 30 days of riding and trail riding into him. He is ready to go. Was supposed to be the horse for my boyfriend but he is "too slow" for him (He is spoiled with my gaited horses). He isn't lazy but has more whoa than go. Cojo is NOT spooky. New things he is unfamiliar with that would result in a "spook" for a different horse, he just walks around it while staring at it. Hasn't been overactive with anything. He would make a good boyfriend/husband horse from what he's shown so far here. It seems as if he may have been shown in the past, but we are not certain. He is well broke and we bought him cleaned as clean can get. It also looks like he had been bleached.. (some do that with Appaloosas for show). Good in the herd. Lower on the totem poll. Never seeks out to bother anyone and absolutely loves people and attention! Just a good ol boy. He is not registered but can be hardship papered through the Appaloosa association if needed. He is a really pretty Appaloosa with a great build! Has a long thick tail!á Has had no health issues & is sound.âá Has had 1 month of training put into him. At a W/T/C.á Trail riddená Decent ground manners, can be a little pushy (Likes head scratches and bumps into you for them).á Patient, is not buddy sour.á Can be ridden bareback, bareback with just a halter/knot halter, or in a saddle.á Can swing up on her from the ground, climb all over him.á Ties - Has had hours of tying time - has been tied to the horse trailer, in the horse trailer, trees, hitching post, tied out overnight. á She lunges both ways.á Picks up his feet, stands great for the farrier! á Loads in trailer.á Crosses mud/water (We have a creek they cross through everyday with different levels of water).á Has had thorough desensitization and groundwork.á Has been desensitized to fire.á Doesn't mind traffic - Has been around 4 wheelers, loud trucks, mowers, farm machinery.á Has been taught to step up onto, stand, and go over obstacles (mattress, tarps, bridge like objects, etc.)á Will walk over logs, branches, walk into and brush up against brush and long weeds/grass without issue.á Good with a fly maská Is pastured in a herd and is lower in pecking order.á Has been stalled (Doesn't mind).á Can have music played while riding him.More information, photos, and videos on our website: Spirit Creek Arabians (Please go there first before messaging for some).Buyer is responsible for transportation and all associated costs.
