Sweet and in your pocket young mare. Pep was well into her training and show career when a hock injury developed a slight hitch in her step. After extensive exams with NC best lameness vet it was deemed she needed corrective back shoes and a year off to recover completely with expected full soundness. Her back to work date should be May 2023. She has had corrective shoes on since June 2022. Ground works sound but to be optimistically fair she is being offered as broodmare sound only. We are tentatively breeding her to VS Code Blue in early 2023 and if mare is covered and checked in foal price will increase or she will be pulled off the market.
