Ruby is a sweet 8yo APHA mare. She was previously in a lesson program, but due to an old injury would be best suited in a lighter riding program. Ruby, when properly warmed-up is able to walk, trot, and canter. She is safe for an advanced beginner and can go in Western or English tack. Ruby is green on trails, and needs more miles but has no bad habits- no buck/rear/bolt. She tends to be the lead mare in a field but gets along with the mares she is turned out with currently.Ruby is an easy keeper but does requires 4 shoes to be in work, and is not on any supplements. If you are interested in adopting one of our equines, please complete the equine placement on our website, www.lastchanceranch.org. Equine placement fees range from $150 to $2000 depending on the age, training and abilities of the equine. The placement fee includes current vaccines, negative Coggins test, dental floating, de-worming and farrier trimming. All equine adopters must live within 3 hours of Last Chance Ranch in Quakertown, PA.
