Meet Lucy and Ethel - This pair of donkeys came to SHARE when their elderly owner passed away. They had been in a pasture with cows. We weren't sure of their ages (approximately 13 and 15) until a veterinarian had given them a health check. They are most probably mother and daughter and have a very close bond. Both are very loveable and easy to handle. Our farrier and we are working to have them more agreeable to having their feet trimmed - a work in progress. We would prefer that they were adopted as a pair as they are very bonded. Lucy and Ethel's adoption fee is $900 for the pair.
