4 year old broke APHA gelding
Cashin for successPlease read the whole thing if youâre interested!:)4 years - broke - APHA registeredCoggins are up to date14.3hh/ishFlorence TxCashin for success is a horse that I got sometime last year to fill in some of my spare time and practice my training with, heâs been coming along very nicely and I am so bummed to let him goâ¹ï¸Walk trot lope - holds his paces very nicelyHe coat gets super fuzzy in the winter!!He loads well in a regular stock trailer, havenât had the chance to load him in a small straight load trailer since we got him, he didnât like it much then. Nice groundwork. Fairly desensitised, he still has baby moments at times!I ride him mostly bareback and bitless but he goes in a bit and both English and western saddles just fine!He has the mind to be a really good kidâs horse, or a baby sitter horse sometime when heâs more mature. BUT he is still fairly inexperienced and would be better suited to an intermediate rider. He is defensive around feeding time, and has bitten me before. but he is opening up and becoming more relaxed and less worried while I brush him and spend time with him while heâs eating. I wouldnât do that in a stall and I definitely wouldnât suggest him to someone who is not confident in sending a horse out of your space. He can really go in any direction at this point. You could teach him the pattern, do playdays, trail, jump, id love to see him learn dressage..or be a lesson horse.Heâs got a superficial crack down the side of his front hoof coming from a scar, hasnât bugged him once but I am getting our farrierâs opinion on it soon.Vet checks are always welcome!!
