4 Year old 14h Arabian Stallion El Cid Morafic Nazeer
Fort Garland, CO
Price may be negotiable asking 1200 Iago is a registered straight Egyptian Arabian stallion. His blood lines go back to Morafic Nazeer Shaikh al Badi HF El Cid just to name a few. He has been very lightly started under saddle and is NOT broke to ride yet. He allows me to saddle him up and sit on him without fuss. He is easy to catch in the pasture easy to halter and lead. He doesnt like being tied but he just fidgets. He stands nicely for tacking after the initial fear of the saddle for the 1st time of the spring and stands nicely for mounting. I have taught him to move closer to you so he is standing where he needs to be for mounting. He will move away to pressure and moves under saddle to leg pressure. I have not ridden him yet just training work with sitting on him and working on pressure. He does NOT like English saddles and will bolt with 1 on him. I dont understand the difference between that and having no fear of a western saddle. I am recommending he only be ridden western. I am also recommending he be considered a trainer only horse at this time due to his high energy. He has kicked me once during a tantrum but has not offered to kick again. He has never bitten or reared. He was loading fine into my trailer as of the end of fall last year and I imagine he should be fine still. He will get a tuneup before going anywhere to ensure he is as great as he can be. Also I will continue working with him under saddle as weather allows. He is still a stallion and as such as some tendencies he will act studdy with a mare and will try to boss you around to get to her. He has never been bred. He has the most stunning floating trot and gorgeous carriage of his body. The only problem with him is that hes too small for me. He stands around 14h I have not taped him and I need something bigger. Again NOT broke to ride. Halter broke. Trainer level at this time. Stallion. Papered. Has NOT been shown but would do well with some work. MAY consider trade for broke or started horse 15h or bigger would prefer yearling to 2 yr old. MAY consider partial trade for horse quality hay. MAY consider negotiating price to a great home. Please dont lowball me.
