I am offering my 11 year old, 17.2 hand Holsteiner gelding for sale due to finances. He is an awesome horse! He loves to go out on trail (leads or follows and goes out alone), loves to jump and will jump anything you put in front of him w/o refusing. He is coming off of a 6 mth layup for a broken rib (he was kicked by another horse)so he is very unfit right now, but he is ready to get back into shape! Before his layup he had his flying changes and was jumping 3'6" easily. His only health issue is that he had a colic surgery a few years ago, and he has a post surgical hernia on his belly. If you look closely in the pictures, you can see it. It does not affect him at all, but I want to you be aware of it before deciding to come and see him. He would be great for a beginner to learn on, but he is fun enough for an advanced rider to enjoy! He would even make a great lesson horse. He is very sweet and personable. He goes english, western or dressage. Only needs front shoes. Good ground manners. Priced to sell quickly! $4000 OBO I may be open to doing an onsite lease if he does not sell soon.
