Benz is a flashy paint gelding who we got from the Pennsylvania SPCA. He came in with five others from a warehouse in Philly! Benz is 15 years old and stands 14.2 hands. Upon evaluation, Benz has training but is very sour about working. Due to this he is best as companion only. Recently in January 2024, he did injure his left eye, have it enucleated and is adjusting well to only have one eye!In the barn he is easy to handle, and is a sweet boy! He stands for the farrier and vet and is no issue to catch in the field. He needs to be turned out with geldings only and is middle of the pecking order.If you are interested in adopting one of our equines, please complete the equine placement on our website, www.lastchanceranch.org. Equine placement fees range from $150 to $2000 depending on the age, training and abilities of the equine. The placement fee includes current vaccines, negative Coggins test, dental floating, de-worming and farrier trimming. All equine adopters must live within 3 hours of Last Chance Ranch in Quakertown, PA.
