Our gorgeous blue roan mare Mackie is searching for her new home... She's AQHA registered, with Hancock lines top and bottom. She's the first to meet me each morning and evening in the pasture and loves to be loved on. We spend most mornings standing in the pasture for a brushing and rump scratches. She stands for saddling and mounting, loads easily and trailers well. She's also a very good customer for the farrier and vet. She's a sweet-tempered mare with humans, and is at the bottom of the pecking order in my pasture of three mares.We bought her almost two years ago, but haven't ridden her much. She was started on barrel pattern by previous owner. Mackie is the sweet girl, but she's not a brave girl; and requires a strong confident rider as she needs a leader to follow. Does best lungeing about 15 minutes before riding.I love our Mackie, but I think she'd do well with someone who rides consistently, which I don't do.
