This is one handsome and BUILT APHA 10 year old gelding. King stands 15.3 hands tall and is stout made. He is the definition of a "mans" horse when I get calls looking for something big, stout, and well broke. âKing is very well broke to ride and has been started in roping on the head side. He has not been roped on in at least 2 years, but he has the size and athleticism to go back to that arena and perform well. King would also excel as a ranch rider or ranch versatility horse. He is a fantstic mover, travels on a loose rein, and has all the proper training and manuevers. âKing has been ridden by a wide range of people. From an older man in his late 70s to a young child around 10. He does prefer a rider that has a little knowledge and is aware of their cues, but if you are working with a trainer that can keep him on track, he is forgiving enough for a beginner to learn on. *Sorry, we will not sell him to a complete beginner that is not working with a trainer. He has been in that situation already, and it is not the right fit for him.*âThis big, fancy gelding has zero vices, likes people, and is the same at home or in a new place. We have hauled him all around the sights from trail riding in rural settings, to the Forth Worth Stockyards, to being entered in parades.
