Bugs Fond Of Spots is a 15.1 hand, two-year old Appaloosa filly. Fawn is a filly that has it all - looks, color, disposition, nice size and most importantly movement. Due to my husband's illness, she received very limited, sporadic training during 2011. She is a very natural moving filly, with a lope that is unbelievable. You can just sit and enjoy the ride. I have raised and trained many babies and this is 1 of the quietest and most willing horse I have ever worked with. Due to her quiet disposition and intelligence, I have her well started on trail obstacles. Fawn can side pass, manipulate a gate (rope and fixed), mailbox, bridge, back-thru, thread the needle back thru, etc., all under saddle and she won all her in-hand trail classes in 2011. She also won all her two & 3 yr. Old Halter classes in 2011, as well as being in the top 3 in all her walk/trot classes (these classes included aged horses) with Fawn usually winning the class. As is evident, even with very limited training, this mare has a wealth of potential. Her quiet disposition and natural movement make her a pleasure to work with. All Fawn requires is a little more polish under the right trainer and she'll continue to be consistently in the winner's circle. Fawn has some notable blood lines. Her dam "Zippos Fancy Cat" is out of Cool Zipper, out of Zippo Pine Bar. Her sire "Bugs Malone" is out of TJ Farrell, out of Prince Farrell, out of Prince Plaudit (who traces back to Bright Eyes Brother, and Wapiti) all who have sired multiple halter and performance champions. Her full sister (a five-year old red roan) is at my facility and has a nice show record. Consistently in the winner's circle in Showmanship, Halter, Trail and Pleasure. Overall Circuit Champion in the Pennsylvania Amateur Horseman's Assoc. in 2010 and 2011 (as a 3 & four year old). The 2nd was a 2 and 3 Year Old Snaffle Bit Class and she won that class out of nineteen entries. The show was at a fairgrounds that we in the horse world kid about, if you can show here you can show anywhere. The distractions ringside include a food booth connected to the rail, carnival rides in an adjoining field, a harness racing track 10' away with races in progress while you are showing, an adjacent ring 5' away with draft horse driving class going on during your classes. etc. I think you get the picture of just how quiet this mare is.
