Frodo is a exquisite nine year old 15 1 hh draft cross gelding Belgian x Percheron Morgan He has been ridden on trails in parades in hunter paces has done small shows and has been trained to drive He stands well for the farrier trailers well bathes well and has been clipped and vacuumed but it has been years ago On trails Frodo does very well with water crossings mud etc as he has primarily been a trail horse Though neither he nor I have any formal jumping training we like to play over downed trees in the woods and he really seems to enjoy it With training he could be a very fun jumping prospect From April July 2012 was in driving training where he pulled a plow with 3 other Percherons an Amish buggy and a road cart hitched single Frodo is only being sold because I am taking a temporary hiatus from horses I am a recent new mom and just cannot seem to get out riding like I want to Frodo is well suited for an experienced rider only as he has had some time off during the past year on and off a few months off then a few months driving then ridden once or twice a month since then and needs a bit of fine tuning If you like a horse with a personality this guy is perfect for you He is a big ol sweetie and can be very inquisitive He is really just an all around fun horse and it will be very tough to see him go I ve had him since he was eight months old but I just don t feel that I m being fair to him with the sparse amount of time I m able to spend with him right now
