10ish year old grade QH gelding for sale trade in Chester SC He s a little too much horse for my boyfriend who is wanting to sell him He just came home from 30 days with our trainer who says he s too unpredictable for trail riding He s very forward and scooty as the trainer called him he s prone to scooting forward for no reason at all he tenses up tucks his hindquarters and scoots forward rapidly for no reason we can pinpoint Has been veterinarian checked and she can t find any medical issues to cause him to act like this Our trainer thinks that daily work and restarting from the ground up could fix the issue He has a lot of go and I think he d make a good rodeo horse namely a roper He has had a little roping starting has tracked calves steers in the arena hauled to different arenas come out of the box and had a rope thrown off him He loads easily lunges ties stands for the farrier pretty well and is cute on the ground four times out of five he rides good He s just too much for us to take on time wise to get him where we need him to be and we re both intimidated by his spooking issues I d say he needs a high intermediate to advanced rider or a project for a trainer He s probably 15 1 15 2 and stocky bigger than we re used to handling Very short backed nice hip lots of bone Mostly ridden in a beetle hackamore our trainer was using a 3 piece snaffle and said he was going well in it Would trade for a well seasoned trail horse to fit a 6 3 240 lb man Please email if interested PRICE IS NEGOTIABLE
